Dear parents,
Sight words play a vital role in the development of early reading skills. These are commonly used words that students should recognize instantly just by seeing them. When children can identify sight words quickly, their reading becomes smoother, faster, and more meaningful. This automatic recognition helps students focus on understanding the text rather than struggling with individual words.
For many early learners, difficulty in reading is often linked to a lack of familiarity with sight words. Regular practice of sight words builds confidence and reduces hesitation while reading sentences and short passages. As a result, students develop better fluency, accuracy, and comprehension.
To support our learners, we are running a series of sight words designed especially for children who are not yet able to read independently. If this series is practiced regularly, it will significantly help such students improve their reading ability. Consistent exposure and revision will enable them to recognize words instantly, making reading an enjoyable and successful experience.
With regular practice and proper guidance, sight words can become a strong foundation for lifelong reading skills.
